We Didn't Want to Fake it: Our Vanilla Just Got Real

Let's Talk the Shady Side of "Natural" Ingredients
Our primary vanilla supplier recently went out of business: small company, well vetted, we were sad to see them go.
So we set out to find a replacement for our best-selling Vanilla Bourbon All-Purpose Cream. It should have been easy. It wasn’t.
As we started vetting new suppliers and requesting samples, we were incredibly frustrated by what the industry considers "acceptable." So much of the vanilla on the market... even the stuff aggressively marketed as "all-natural"... is so often heavily processed, impure, and cut with cheap alcohols or carrier oils.
The deeper we looked, the more we realized that trusting a third-party supplier meant risking the integrity of our product.
We refuse to make compromises on our mission of all-natural, minimal ingredient skincare. So, instead of settling for another questionable supplier, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
The New Way: The Unfiltered Infusion
We have officially ditched commercial vanilla oils. We are now doing the heavy lifting in-house by slow-infusing real, whole vanilla beans directly into our tallow.
By taking control of the process, we aren't just guaranteeing purity; we are actually upgrading the formula. Real vanilla beans are packed with potent antioxidants that combat free radical damage, alongside natural B-vitamins (like Niacin and Thiamin) that help soothe inflammation and promote healthy-looking skin.
The Results: Warmer, Deeper, Real
Because this is a true, raw infusion, our All-Purpose Cream has evolved into something even better.
The scent is no longer a sharp, one-dimensional fragrance. The new cream is warmer and deeper, smelling like a real, gourmet vanilla cupcake.
Because it's a natural infusion, the scent is activated and enhanced by the warmth of your own skin, opening up as you rub it in.
When you open your new jar, you are going to notice tiny black dots. Don’t panic. Those aren’t impurities. Those are actual specks of the vanilla bean fruit (vanilla caviar!). They are absolute proof of purity, and they give the cream a raw, unfiltered character that we are incredibly proud of.
